During the exhibition periods, the exhibitions are open daily from 2 p.m. to 7 p.m., closed on Wednesdays. The exhibitions change twice a year. The first period usually runs from March to July, the second from September to February, with possible deviations. 
The above opening hours do not apply during the renovation breaks. 

Long Thursday (only during exhibition periods):
On the first Thursday of the month, the exhibitions are open from 2 p.m. to 9 p.m., and admission is free.

Christmas 2025 opening hours: Closed on December 24, 25, 26, and 31, 2025, and January 1, 2026; open on December 27, 28, 29, and 30, 2025, and from January 2, 2026, during regular opening hours.

Admission: 7,50 €, reduced: 4,50 €

Free admission on the first Thursday of the month.
Guided tours and events: 10,50 €, reduced 7,50 €
Die Photo-Detektive. Guided tours for children: 8,00 €

Tickets can be purchased at the exhibition box office or online.

Entrance to the exhibition is barrier-free.

Lockable cloakroom lockers are available. Seating for the exhibition can be borrowed on request.

Photography is permitted in the exhibition rooms for private purposes only. No flash.

By public transport

Underground: from Cologne main station: Line 16, 18, to Ebertplatz. Change to line 12, 15 in the direction of Ringe. Get out at Christophstraße/MediaPark. From there take Hermann-Becker-Straße and over the bridge to the MediaPark.

S-Bahn: from Cologne main station: S6 direction Nippes, S11 direction Düsseldorf, S12 or S13 direction Hansaring and S19 direction Düren. Direct S-Bahn connection from Cologne-Bonn Airport to Hansaring with the S19 line. Get out at Hansaring.

From there: after the electronics store Saturn turn right, take the next left into Maybachstraße, and walk straight ahead into MediaPark.

Regional train: from Cologne main station, take the regional train (RE) in the direction of Hansaring. Get out at Hansaring.

From there: after Saturn electronics store turn right, then left into Maybachstraße, and walk straight ahead into MediaPark.

 

Approach by car:

The Mediapark has a central underground car park. You can enter either via the street Am Kümpchenshof or, if you are coming from the A57 or via Innere Kanalstraße, on Erftstraße directly behind the railway subway. Follow the signs to PZ (Parkhaus Zentral).
